Overall Purpose:

To deliver friendly and efficient customer service and create a secure, warm and welcoming environment for all of our owners. Assist with administrative and operational support throughout the village and also with the delivery of some care support if required.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • General village security checks and monitoring CCTV
  • Pool cleaning and completing pool test log
  • Preparing swimming pool and club for day use
  • Ensuring cleanliness of all public areas as appropriate
  • Refuse collection throughout the village
  • Monitoring and responding to emergency situations as required e.g. fire alarms, personal health alarm emergencies
  • Assist front of house teams in preparing the village for the following day e.g. setting up meeting rooms, clearing down restaurant etc.
  • Cleaning duties throughout communal areas
  • Supervise and manage the reception area and telephones, assisting with face to face enquiries and requests
  • Record relevant information for handover to the day teams
  • Process Daily Report and Daily Brief and distribute to all relevant teams/managers
  • Carry out unobtrusive monitoring and ensure all records are up to date and in line with GDPR
  • Deliver newspapers, post and village communications
  • Help and support owners moving around the village
  • Adhere to all Audley policies and procedures and ensure health and safety requirements are met at all times
  • To attend all mandatory training as deemed necessary by your line manager
  • To be able to assist the Night Carer in case of emergency either together or alone if required
  • To fully understand the Village Fire Policy & Procedure and know how to act in the event of an emergency
  • To take responsibility for the Village during the night and ensure all safety measures are adhered to at all times

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy as well as written and oral English
  • Experience of using a computer would be an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task
  • You should be able to identify priorities and manage time effectively
  • Be an active listener who is able to show understanding of others
  • To have a clear understanding of infection control and what you would need to do in case you were needed to help in an emergency
